Snehal Mehta, earned her B.Arch from India, before expanding her expertise in Interior and Living Design from Domus Academy, Milan, Italy. She worked with prominent names in design & architecture like Inform Architects, The Orange Lane Studio, and Splendour Living before co-founding The SS Story. Her previous work in styling show flats & hotels and curating product ranges for international trade exhibitions — including Salone del Mobile, Milan have honed her expertise in creating opulent spaces.
Surbhi Patil, armed with a B.Arch from India, went on to sharpen her skills in Visual arts and Graphic design from the epicentre of art — Florence, Italy. Always looking for new experiences, Surbhi’s work spans 3 major quadrants: architecture, brand awareness and interiors. Her experience with SSA Architects and the Avishkar Group led her to contribute to big infrastructure projects like the National Satyagraha Memorial, Dandi, large townships in Mumbai and the Mumbai Metro.
Snehal & Surbhi, college friends with a shared passion for design, always dreamed of starting their own design studio together. They envisioned a space where their creative ideas could flourish and the world could experience their artistic vision. Driven by their love for design and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, they embarked on a journey to redefine their identities through their shared passion.
They both are master storytellers in their own right, blending vision, artistry, and creativity in every design. Snehal’s sharp eye for detail builds the foundation, while Surbhi adds bold flair and personality. Together, they transform each project into a unique narrative, where every detail tells a story that’s distinctly yours.
Surbhi and Snehal started their architecture journeys this decisive year.
Surbhi moves to Visual Design in Florence Institute of Design International, Italy. Snehal moves to space design expertise and makes Domus Academy, Milan.
They gained experience at Inform Architects, The Orange Lane Studio, Splendour Living, SSA Architects and the Avishkar Group.
Snehal & Surbhi put their talents and initials – together and found The SS Story, the interior & graphic design studio you need.
